Alisha and Elisama are working together on these shirts (and stickers) in order to help raise funds for Elisama’s trip. All profit from these shirts will go towards sending Elisama to Greece.

Equal Justice Initiative

In light of the recent events, including the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, I have seen how I need to change and be better for the Black community. One of the ways I am working to make an impact on the racial differences in America is by donating to the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI). I will be selling Black Lives Matter stickers for as long as Alisha Doodles is alive. The proceeds of these stickers will be donated to EJI. I am committed to supporting and advocating for my Black brothers and sisters, I hope you will join me in this journey.

The mission statement is as follows “The Equal Justice Initiative is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.” (found on eji.org/about/)

Paradox Coalition

Recently I have been working with the Paradox Coalition to create custom pieces for both their Instagram feed and their website! The Paradox Coalition’s mission is to help employ single mothers so that they can be both provider and present in their children’s lives. How they do so is by hiring single mothers to make the earrings that anyone can buy! If you want to know more about this amazing non-profit click the link HERE to their website! Gabriella Gordon Photo

Gabriella and I did a giveaway on Instagram in late October of 2019. The winner of that giveaway won a 30-minute photoshoot with Gabriella Gordon Photography. From there, two of those photos will be turned into doodles! The finished products are below.
